Equine massage for horse owners is a practical, approachable course designed to teach horse owners how to confidently incorporate massage into their horse’s regular care.
You’ll learn the foundations of equine massage, important muscles and their roles, how massage affects the body, basic assessment and palpation, foundational massage techniques, myofascial techniques, lymphatic massage, and how to work through the horse from head to hoof.
The course also explores common areas of tension, discipline-specific considerations, and how to recognize when something may be outside the scope of owner massage. Massage can support relaxation, circulation, muscular comfort and range of motion while helping owners become more familiar with what is normal for their individual horse.
This course is not designed to replace professional bodywork or veterinary care. Instead, it gives you the knowledge and hands-on skills to support your horse between appointments, better understand their body, and know when it may be time to bring in a professional.
Along with written lessons and practical video demonstrations, you’ll receive printable guides and reference materials that you can take straight to the barn, including massage sequences, assessment resources, muscle references, lymphatic and myofascial guides, and more.
No previous massage or anatomy experience is required, and you’ll receive lifetime access so you can revisit the course whenever you need a refresher.
